The Nammo Talley Facility:
Since 1960, Nammo Talley Defense Systems has been developing aircrew escape systems, automobile airbag components, shoulder-launched weapons, and other key propellant-loaded devices. The company operated out of this facility, located twenty miles east of Phoenix on the 202, until they moved locations in 2002. The facility was used for computer manufacturing during the 1960’s and 1970’s. Later, testing, development, and manufacturing became the main objectives of this location. Today, the facility is made up of three main buildings and appears to be used mainly by paint ballers from the nearby high school.
